V.A.C. Flight Operations
Ken Terry - Operations Officer

The term "Retro Flight" actually began, as most call sign naming conventions, in jest!
QUOTE: "You guys are just a bunch of old guys, flying old airplanes, you remind me of my wife and her "Retro" shopping trips!"
The laughter among those assembled at this particular Air Show did not subside for many minutes. When it finally did settle down a little
the individual call signs for each Flight Member began to be heard. Since the protocol for a call sign assignments must be adhered to at
all costs: you can't pick your own - it has to be assigned - you can't change it - you got to keep it until it is changed; the following is

Retro Flight Fly By
There are many reasons to request a fly by over certain events and activities. The Valiant Air Command has always supported this effort, along with many other Aviation Organizations, Commemorative Air Force, EAA, Warbirds of America, etc.
Every attempt is made to accommodate all requests. However, it must be realized there are certain times and places where flying in the vicinity of a crowd is prohibited; the cost of operation of the aircraft is also a major factor. Please contact us with your request and we will use every possible means to help you realize your request. Click on this Flyover Request link, fill out the form, with as much information as possible, and mail or contact us as soon as possible after the decision has been made to request a fly by.
